The 2021 Government Social Media Conference is moving entirely to a virtual event during the originally planned dates, March 23-25, 2021, due to the ongoing impacts of the pandemic.
As an original transferee from the 2020 to the 2021 event, please read through these FAQs below that might help answer some of your questions. If you have any questions you don't see here, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we’d be happy to help.
For anyone who chose to transfer your GSMCON2020 ticket to GSMCON2021, we have two options for you:
We will be reaching out to all transferees via email for your decision in early December. Please whitelist [email protected] to ensure you receive the latest updates.
We’re working on comparable workshops for anyone who transferred their workshop to 2021, and will have more details to share via email.
Some agencies were hoping to use their airline credits for the physical 2021 event. Please contact your airline directly to let them know about the continuing impact of the pandemic and you may be able to extend your airline credit again.
Philadelphia was on our GSMCON schedule since well before the pandemic hit. When the restrictions on large physical events have lifted, our goal is to work towards bringing GSMCON first to Seattle (the planned 2020 location) and the following year to Philadelphia (the planned 2021 location).
For those who chose to transfer your GSMCON2020 Virtual Pass to 2021, you’ll still be able to get access to the 2021 session recordings after the event, just like with a regular Virtual Pass ticket. We’ll also have options for upgrading to participate in the live, interactive GSMCON2021. We’ll send Virtual Pass transferees further information in early December on how to do this via email.
