Celebrating govie teams with a little #GovHalloween spirit!
We’re giving away a GSM gift box to the winner of our sixth annual #GovHalloween Costume Contest!
Participants can enter the costume contest Thursday, October 24 through Thursday, October 31, 2024. All you need to do to enter is post a photo or short-form video of you or your team in costumes with the hashtag #GovHalloween on Instagram, X, Facebook or LinkedIn to enter. You can also tag our Government Social Media account!
We love to see your creative entries, and make sure to mention if anything is special or unique, especially if any part of it was handmade by you! Thank you for taking the time to share a little of your holiday with Team GSM! 🎃
Happy #GovHalloween! 👻🎃

You too can host your own #SocialGov weekly update with a few, budget friendly props. No tricks, only treats for a well informed community who only occasionally {quite often} make fun of your microphone size. pic.twitter.com/eeL3HiIkRk
By entering the #GovHalloween contest, you agree to the following rules.
By entering the #GovHalloween contest, you agree to the following rules.
Post your entry using the hashtag #GovHalloween & tagging Government Social Media on Thursday, October 24 through 11:59 p.m. PT Thursday, October 31, 2024, for a chance to win a GSM gift box. You can post to Instagram, X, Facebook or LinkedIn to enter.
Your #GovHalloween post needs to include a picture of either you and/or your government team in costumes to be entered to win.
You can post the picture or short-form video from your government agency’s handle or your own. Only one prize will be awarded to the profile that posts the picture regardless of how many people are in the winning photo.

We’ll post the winning entry publicly on social media by 3 p.m. PT, Friday, Nov. 1 and may share it on other mediums as well.
Your 2024 entry must be from this 2024 Halloween, not previous years. It’s okay if your office celebrated earlier or later in the week!
By entering, you grant Government Social Media LLC the right to use the tweets/posts/photos you submit in our marketing efforts, and you retain ownership of your pictures.
Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
