Through my work at the State of Michigan, I have strived to break down silos across state agencies, expand partnerships, and implement social media practices and policies that safeguard the state, while improving transparency and two-way dialogue with citizens. I'd take this same approach to my work with the GSMO Membership Council. I want to serve because I feel like I have a lot to offer GSM and the #SocialGov community at large. I am all about giving back, this is evident from my career in public service and my leadership on several boards.

Northeast Region Membership

Our association supports a community of government professionals who collaborate about using social media for their agencies. Members elect a representative to serve the association and their region for a term of two years. Members and representatives follow a code of conduct.

The Northeast Region includes the following:

Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
