During the tough times of the pandemic, GSM helped me feel supported. There were days where the news cycle was so anxiety inducing or crisis focused that we couldn’t post our business as usual much less fun content. The support from the GSM professional association through the webinars, live chats and Facebook group helped me feel like I wasn’t alone. I want to extend that same support and help continue to build a community for social media professionals, who like me, are on one-person teams.

Northwest Region Membership

Our association supports a community of government professionals who collaborate about using social media for their agencies. Members elect a representative to serve the association and their region for a term of two years. Members and representatives follow a code of conduct.
