While other organizations provide worthwhile opportunities for learning and growth, GSMA has been a game changer for the way I run our social media strategy. I attended my first Government Social Media Conference in Dallas in 2022. Since that year, I have championed GSMA within my network of government communicators. GSM serves as a vital community and resource where #SocialGovs can improve skills, ask for candid advice, and lean on one another for support. There is no other organization that compares!
By serving on the GSMA Council, I would be able to advocate more broadly for the organization and help grow this thriving community of amazing, thoughtful, creative professionals.
Southwest Region Membership
Our association supports a community of government professionals who collaborate about using social media for their agencies. Members elect a representative to serve the association and their region for a term of two years. Members and representatives follow a code of conduct.
