Congratulations to the 2022 Golden Post Awards winners!

We’re proud of all finalists & entrants who submitted their agency’s best work, and especially excited to announce the winners of 15 awards honoring outstanding use of social media by government agencies in the United States. Winners were announced during the hybrid 2022 Government Social Media Conference on March 30, 2022. Led by Jessie Brown and Chelsea Sawyer, our 2022 Award Committee planned a memorable ceremony celebrating the work of social media professionals. Hundreds gathered in person and online to watch the spectacle ceremony which included a drum line, stilt walker, special guests from several social networks, and the guests of honor – social media professionals from across the nation.

People who manage social media in government are in one of the most difficult fields for social media professionals. The Golden Post Awards is a free program dedicated to recognizing their hard work, which frequently involves high stakes, high expectations and limited resources in facilitating open communication with the public.
