Why the east coast?
Over the years, attendees have frequently requested we bring #GSMCON® to the east coast, and we’re thrilled to celebrate a decade of excellence in government social media in the Sunshine State in 2025! We diligently take your feedback, notes & anecdotes and use it to craft an even better event year after year — everything from food suggestions, programming ideas, locations and activities. Selecting the Orlando-area location allows for easier travel, ample space, exciting activities, and so much more to make your attendee experience shine. Because 2024 in-person event tickets sold out in record time, we made sure our 2025 venue would be large enough to generously accommodate our growing attendee needs.

An experience to remember! We’re already working behind the scenes on your experience! Expect exciting attendee networking opportunities (both in-person and online!), experience enhancements and much more.
- We heard an overwhelmingly positive response on our investment into our app for the 2024 event, and we’re pleased to let you know that our event app is returning for 2025. You’ll be able to keep the schedule at your fingertips, customize your agenda, create meet-ups, rideshares, and more.
- Expect a packed session schedule! We’re bringing back our newly introduced labeling system for session levels (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) and session tracks for attendees to easily scan what sessions they most want to attend. Attendees will have a variety of session lengths and topics to choose from! Stay tuned for our Call for Speakers in fall 2024.
- VIP Tickets are returning, along with additional upgrade opportunities, for 2025’s event. Bundle your pre-conference, add-on workshops to save the most, purchase the Extended On-Demand to view sessions for 6 months post-conference, or get it all with the VIP Ticket. New this year, pre-conference workshops are now open to virtual participants and workshops will be recorded and available on-demand online!

It’s important to us to continue hosting a hybrid event to make the conference accessible to government communicators from wherever you are, even if you’re overseas. All of our in-person attendees can expect 2.5-days with perks like meeting people face-to-face at the Welcome Reception, learning more about government-related products in the expo area and connecting with speakers and other attendees. Online participants will be able to watch most keynote, general and breakout sessions in real-time, meaning you’ll be right there with speakers and other attendees as sessions are happening. You’ll connect with other virtual attendees via our event platform and you can participate in live speaker Q&As. Virtual networking activities will ensure you get to be a part of the fun, too! Post-event, you’ll get on-demand online access to most session recordings 10 days after the event for 3 months.
