Don’t be late! GSMCON2022 early-bird registration ends Dec. 3

Dec 03, 2021

Over 600 of your fellow government social media peers both across the country and internationally have already signed up to be a part of the 2022 Government Social Media Conference

Don’t miss your invitation to be a part of GSMCON, the largest social media conference in the U.S. for government agencies happening both online and in person in Dallas, Texas, March 29-31, 2022. Ticket price increases start during regular registration — save the most for you and your agency by signing up before early-bird registration ends at midnight PT on Friday, December 3, 2021!

Connect with these speakers & your peers

What we’ve heard from past attendees time and time again is not only the high caliber sessions offered during the conference, but also the genuine camaraderie created at the event. Who else knows best what you’re going through than other government social media professionals just like you?

Get together at the Welcome Reception, meet one another at the Restaurant Romp, at Networking Breaks, during the sessions themselves and even after hours. GSMCON is just the beginning of finding your socialgov support system where the camaraderie lasts long after the event ends.

But, it’s not only these friendships you’ll gain — you’ll walk away or log off with the right information to elevate your role, confidently communicate and become the best government social media professional. Here’s just a few of the sessions you’ll see:

  • Fireside chat with crisis communication & 1A attorney Mark Weaver
  • Special activities like our Social Media Policy Reboot! Bring your current policy, learn best practices & work with your peers in small groups to answer questions, swap language & walk away with an even stronger policy for your attorney to review.
  • Demo-style sessions where speakers walk through helpful tools live
  • All Access Only sessions! Upgrade your experience and be a part of Live Reviews, WWYD Scenarios and PowerTalks
  • Breakout sessions from industry leaders and professionals from a wide-variety of backgrounds and jurisdictions

What will hybrid GSMCON look like?

Team GSM is planning a special hybrid experience for both in-person and online attendees for our 7th annual GSMCON, making the conference even more accessible to the whole community. No matter what ticket type you pick, you’ll gain fulfilling experience making you an even more confident, efficient government social media professional.

Attending in-person

We can’t say enough about our in-person attendee experience! You get major perks like meeting people face-to-face, learning more about government-related products in the expo area and connecting with speakers and other attendees.

  • Access to all keynotes and regular breakout sessions
  • Enjoy 3 continental breakfasts and 2 lunches
  • Plus, you get to explore Dallas!

Attending virtually

If your agency won’t allow travel yet or participating online is better for you, you have options for a virtual experience, too!

  • Watch most sessions in real-time, meaning you’ll be right there with speakers and other attendees as sessions are happening
  • Connect with other virtual attendees, as well as in-person attendees who have the All Access upgrade, via our event website
  • Participate in live speaker Q&As and more!

Whether attending in-person or online, you’ll also get on-demand access to most session recordings 10 days after the event for 90 days.

General Admission or All Access?

We heard your requests to offer different ticket types at GSMCON, and for the first time, we’re offering a variety of ticket types to best accommodate government social media professionals, all at discounted prices through midnight PT on Friday, December 3! Whether you’re planning to join us online or in person, you have an option to purchase either a General Admission Ticket or All Access Ticket, which gets you access to special sessions.

General Admission gets you access to all keynotes and concurrent breakout sessions, including regular breakouts and demo-style sessions. You can also be a part of the Special Activity: Social Media Policy Reboot, expo area and more.

Upgrading your ticket to All Access gets you everything in the General Admission ticket plus access to special sessions like Live Reviews, where you watch a speaker’s critical thinking, WWYD Scenarios, an opportunity for attendees to work through specific presented scenarios, and PowerTalks, table discussions with active discussion on a variety of topics.

Tickets cost more to be a part of GSMCON2022 starting Saturday, December 4! Prices increase $100 for in-person tickets and $50 for virtual tickets after early-bird registration ends on Friday, December 3.
